What information shows up in WHOIS for a domain?
WHOIS is a registry's (RoTLD for .ro, EURid for .eu, etc.) public database where you can look up information about a registered domain: its registration date, expiration date, the agent (registrar) it was registered through, the nameservers it uses, and, depending on that registry's privacy policy, the holder's (Registrant's) details.
For .ro domains, RoTLD normally shows the holder's name, but not detailed contact information (email, phone) for individuals, precisely for privacy reasons.
For .eu domains, EURid does not publicly display individuals' data in WHOIS, in line with GDPR; only agents' data and, for legal entities, some contact information may be visible.
You can check this information for any domain at any time using the domain name search on the EUReg website.
