I ordered the wrong registration period for my domain – what can I do?

If you accidentally selected the wrong number of years when registering or renewing a domain (for example 1 year instead of 5):

  • before paying the proforma invoice: contact us through EUReg support as soon as possible, and the order can be corrected or cancelled and redone with the period you want;
  • after payment, but before the domain has been processed at the registry: there may be a short window in which a correction is still possible — contact us immediately;
  • after the domain has already been registered for that period: the period can no longer be changed retroactively, but you can always extend the domain by additional years (up to the 10-year limit most registries allow) by generating a renewal proforma invoice from your customer account.

The number of years chosen at registration doesn't affect the price per year — you simply pay the annual fee multiple times, whether you pay it all at once or spread across several years.
